Welcome to Questions.now ("we", "our", or "us"), a service operated by A. Marin, trading as Greenview Ventures, who is the data controller for personal data processed through Questions.now. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our live Q&A platform.

This policy is specific to Questions.now and supplements the Greenview Ventures Privacy Policy. By using Questions.now, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with both policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our services

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to our site. We use this information to improve our service.

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking through our cookie consent banner or by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

4.2 Hosting and Infrastructure

Our service is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored in data centres with industry-standard security measures.

4.3 Payment Processing (Stripe)

We use Stripe to process payments for premium subscriptions. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe — Questions.now never receives or stores your full card number.

We store a limited amount of billing-related data, including your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and plan details, to manage your account and provide access to premium features. We do not store your card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials.

Stripe may collect additional information as described in their privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy

4.4 AI Insights

When a host uses AI Insights, session content is sent to a third-party AI service provider to generate insights and summaries. Only the session host can use these features.

  • Live insights: the text of each question, its vote count, whether it has been answered, and an internal question identifier.
  • Session reports: the session name, overall totals (participants, questions, votes, polls, word clouds and reactions), up to 50 approved questions with their vote counts and answered status, poll questions with option percentages, each word cloud prompt with its top five words, and reaction counts.

We do not send participant names, email addresses, IP addresses or passwords to the AI service provider.

4.5 AI Assistant Integration

Hosts on Pro Monthly can connect AI assistants such as Claude. The integration is read-only and can only access sessions hosted by the signed-in user (session details, questions, votes, polls, word clouds, reactions and participant counts). Access uses a secure sign-in and can be revoked at any time by disconnecting in the AI assistant or emailing [email protected].

Data returned to the assistant is processed by its provider (for Claude, Anthropic) under their own privacy policy. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and store certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the operation of our service (e.g., authentication)
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors interact with our website (Google Analytics)
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences (e.g., theme choice)

You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner displayed when you first visit our site. You can also instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Session data (questions, polls, word clouds) is retained as long as the session exists and may be deleted by the session host at any time.

Questions.now does not store IP addresses in its own database. IP addresses appear only in our hosting provider's security, sign-in and request logs, which are kept for a limited period set by that provider and then deleted automatically. Google Analytics data is only collected with your consent and is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which it is deleted automatically.

If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information, please contact us at [email protected].

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Encryption of data at rest
  • Regular security assessments
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Secure password hashing

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Right of Access: You can request copies of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct inaccurate information
